What exactly is Movie Recap Studio?+
It is a production workspace for building YouTube movie recaps from authorized source material. It combines source preparation, evidence-based story analysis, narration, voice, scene matching, edit planning, rendering, QC and delivery.
Is it a movie streaming service?+
No. It is not intended to be a public movie player or a repository for copyrighted films. Source integrations are technical production inputs and do not grant rights to the underlying media.
Does the AI know the movie already?+
The production analysis is designed to prioritize source-derived transcript and visual evidence. The goal is to reduce invented details and make the reasoning traceable to the actual source.
Can I choose my AI provider?+
The application has a provider gateway designed for configurable models. DeepSeek and OpenAI are supported in the architecture, with Anthropic, Gemini and compatible providers available where configured by the deployment.
Can I rewrite the script?+
Yes. Narration is organized into editable blocks so you can change wording before audio generation and downstream scene matching.
What happens when I change the script?+
Downstream timing, audio, matching and rendering are treated as stale and should be regenerated from the edited version. This prevents the final video from silently using an older narration.
Can I use my own movie file?+
The production architecture supports authorized uploads and source adapters. Uploaded files must meet the deployment validation requirements and you must have the right to process them.
Will it automatically make the final video?+
That is the intended production pipeline: analyze, script, voice, match, render and QC. Heavy media processing is designed for a server-side worker environment rather than ordinary shared web hosting.
Can I move hosting later?+
Yes. The application is being kept modular so the media engine can move to a VPS or another infrastructure provider without redesigning the public product.
Does it guarantee fair use?+
No. Fair use, fair dealing and other copyright exceptions are fact-specific and jurisdiction-dependent. The service does not provide legal advice or a blanket permission to use copyrighted material.
